We have made it to Austin. It's really late, Texas is really big, and people actually do wear cowboy hats here. We have some pictures of our day that we will be sharing tomorrow. In the meantime, we are enjoying some sleep.

I remember traveling down Rt. 66 in 1970. Coming home to Northwest Indiana from New Mexico. Texas seemed to last forever, but we finally made it. :)

Glad to hear you made it safely into Austin. Sounds like it was a very long day...Thought you'd like to read this note from my friend Nancy Gray...you remember her don't you Jenny?? "They need to write a book. I relate, laugh and cry (thinking about my kids moving away). They are awesome writers and you just want more when you finish.
